Michael Prywes Michael Prywes (Producer, Writer, Director) graduated from Northwestern University's Creative Writing for the Media Program, and also graduated from UCLA's and Hofstra's Professional Screenwriting Programs. In 1996, he launched Chicagoland's "Jewish Theatre Ensemble" (which recently co-produced a project with Steppenwolf Theater Company), earning him the Elie Wiesel National Prize for Jewish Arts and Culture. In addition to directing, Prywes teaches at Queens College and has guest-lectured at NYU and UCLA. Currently, he is in development on "Mating Habit" and "The King of Summer.
